CANtinue? is an installation based on the Sony Playstation 4 controller and console. Staying true to the gaming theme, we envisioned each can to represent a pixel to create the overall composition. Gaming consoles of all generations have been a memorable part of individuals’ lives growing up. Games bring people together and our goal was to use this installation to bring back that sense of nostalgia while raising awareness to end hunger in our city. The charging status of the controller is indicated by LED lighting. Our goal is to reach 100% for not only energy level, but also awareness for the cause. We want to leave people with the option to CANtinue to donate to help end hunger.
